My name is Brooke Michelle Wood, and I am the proud creator of ALTR EGO—a premium hair extension brand that refuses to compromise on quality. With over 18 years in the industry and recognition as the best hairdresser on the Gold Coast, my experience has taught me one crucial lesson: quality is non-negotiable.

I creatd ALTR EGO because I was tired of the inconsistency and standard available in the hair extension market. Time after time, I watched as extensions dried out, lost their shine, shed excessively, and failed to maintain their quality. It wasn't just frustrating for me as a stylist, it was embarrassing to offer products that didn't align with my high standards.

So I did it myself.

I realised the industry was operating at a level far below what clients and stylists deserved, and I couldn't accept that any longer. ALTR EGO was created to raise the bar and provide extensions that are unquestionably superior in every aspect.
